Updating Imac to accommodate WhatsApp. I have 10.14.7 I need to updtae to Mac OS 12 But I dont seem to be able to. My mac says I am upto date?

My auto update says I am upto date Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.7 WhatsApp says I need Mac OS 12?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

You have updates and upgrades confused.


10.15.7 is the maximum OS for 2012 Macs.


See if your Mac supports Big Sur first:

Big Sur a Migration tip - Apple Community


If it doesn't support Big Sur, it doesn't support Monterey.
