How do you loop a slideshow Preview on a Mac?

Tried following suggestions for running a SlideShow of Digital images in Preview. Seeminlg unable to drag more than 16 images to Preview. Then try setting off 'SlideShow' but apart from the slideshow symbols on screen nothing happens.

You might be better off using Photos Application

Create slideshows in Photos on Mac

Or even Keynote to create a Presentation of the 16 Images

Preview can Display a PDF file as a slide show but Digital Images - no

If as you have declared Photos is Not to your liking

What about the Alternative from Apple >> Keynote

Have build may a Presentation with at least 100 Slides in the Presentation

Added Music, Videos, Text to Individual Slides containing a Picture

Even able to Auto Advance through the Presentation to match the timing of the Music and sometimes a Voice Over

Preview is a Basic Application and has been previous mentioned, Digital Images as a SlideShow - not so much

PDF in Preview - Yes.

It's not just 16 images I wanted drag and drop but the many more I'd highlighted.

Unfortunately my experience of 'Photo's is not good - it has moved so far to being an iPhone app that I do NOT find it either practical or useful. I cannot manage my photo's in the way I wish to see them.

Preview I can work with.
