I lost my airtag and I didn't register in my iphone, can i still find it?

No. The "registration" process would associate this AirTag to your Apple ID. This association would be required to locate it with the Find My app.
Since you didn't do this prior to losing it, the only way to find it would be to go looking for it. Unfortunately, If someone else does before you, there wouldn't be anything stopping them with associating this tag to their ID. They also wouldn't have any means to contact you either.
