Can you Accept messenger video without typing password. New iPad for mother in law is struggling
She is struggling with password and biometrics old iPad you could just swipe and messenger video would be there.

If the iPad is locked, unless unlocked using the device Passcode or TouchID/FaceID (as applicable for the iPad model), you will not be able to interact with most installed Apps - such as Facebook Messenger.
As a partial workaround, you might choose to disable the auto-lock function* - however, this is not recommended as the iPad and stored data will be accessible by anyone who gains physical access to the iPad.
(*) Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock - select Never

Facebook messenger? If so ask facebook, not an Apple app or issue.
