using Chrome with Monterey

The Chrome browser is asking, every time, for me to enter the keychain login. I open that page, and I cannot update it to always allow access. The circle starts spinning and won't, stop. The pop up window freezes and sits on top of my work. I have been able to use chrome, but cannot close it or do anything with it except to restart the mac. It's not working since I updated to Monterey. I need it for my work Any recommendations?

Start with this if IntelMac...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Next test, o find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?

Next, might try this, it's Chrome Browser without google & without Ads...
