Gmail refusing iCloud email

My device is not authenticated

Thank you. I am not a technical person, (just a user), but I think there are two reasons why my device is not being authenticated:


  1. The webbased server sending my emails did not have the correct SPF record, which has now been corrected. It may take 24 hrs to come into effect.
  2. A 2nd possible reason is that within the SMTP menu, in addition to the 'primary GMail SMTP server' switched on, under the 'other SMTP servers' options, other SMTP servers were also swithed on. Apparently Gmail does not like other servers addresses being used?? I have switched 'off' all the other SMTP servers.


Hopefully the matter has been resolved.
