Can I ask my family or friends to return the device for me?

I ordered a visionPro online from the Apple store, but it doesn’t suit me at the moment. I want to return it, but I’m not available for the time being. Can I ask my family or friends to help me return it at a physical Apple store?

If someone else can go to a physical store to return the product on my behalf, do I need to bring any proof? Do I have to show my Apple ID?

They'll need your Web Order number or QR code along with the product in its original condition with all of its included parts, accessories, and packaging. I have never been asked to show ID for a return, and the refund is processed to the original card. Make sure to have reset the device and disabled Find My.
