Hi.
I have mid 2015 Macbook Pro Retina running Monterey 12.7.2 (21G1974).
The process, SysPolicyD, has kept my macbook fan at around 6000rpm for hours at 50% CPU or above
Is this something I can prevent? If I kill the process, it turns back on.
What should I do with this crazy CPU eating process?
I can provide a sample of the process if necessary. Was too long for additional text.

To clarify part of the instructions in that post......In the Console app your Mac device should be automatically highlighted on the left pane (top item, mine says "hwtech's MacBook Pro"), click "Start Streaming" on the right pane. Then use the search field in the Console app to filter for "syspolicyd". This was not entirely clear from the post in that link.
You can also run the third party app EtreCheck and post the report here so we can examine it for clues.

When I check the console logs for errors and faults for syspolicyd, I got string of: failed to call driver: 0x3
Is this a clue? How do I debug and/or find the app/extension that is troubling syspolicyd?
