Once again, and for no reason that I can figure out, my MacBook Air's fan runs almost immediately upon boot-up and continues to run, even when I close the clamshell and/or otherwise put it to sleep.
Any help/advice is appreciated.

1) check Activity Monitor for processes using significant CPU power.

2) boot in Safe Mode, if it doesn’t occur reboot normally.
