Webpage is using significant energy again!?! Darn!


Hey There,


I went on safari and I went on Google there's a problem on a webpage it says This webpage is using significant energy. Closing it may improve the responsiveness of your Mac. so How to close it or try a different browser like Google Chrome or Firefox instead!

Safari is using webpage significant energy again!


so How to close it ...


Quit Safari: either use the Safari menu and select Quit or ⌘ Q


... or try a different browser like Google Chrome or Firefox instead!


The usual method is to download and launch them. Google Chrome will require authentication so that it can install all its accompanying information-harvesting processes, while Firefox is just a browser.


Both of them will require more energy than Safari (Google especially so) but neither one will inform you of that need.
