Can't access locked notes

Iphone7, running latest (last) iOS 15.8.1.

Receive message: "Unsupported Note, This noted uses unsupported features. To view or edit it, upgrade to the latest version of iOS."

As. noted above I have the latest iOS installed.

is ventura 13.7.6 notes fully compatible with ios 18.5 I am unable to open some notes made on my iPhone running iOS 18.5 on my 2017 MacBook pro running is ventura 13.7.6. Many hours trying fix and ultimately I have given up. Any body with the same equipment that has a working fix replying to this would be immensely appreciated. I’ve had a wonderful 8 years from the laptop and my iPhone 11 Pro. Which 1 needs upgrading first 🤷‍♂️

Your phone cannot run the latest iOS version which is 17.x. If the note was composed with a later version and has features not available, you are out of luck. You can access the note via the web interface at iCloud.com
