Safari opens a website instead of doing search

Hi !

I just made the upgrade of iOS to 17, latest version and I just noticed that when I’m doing a search (in the search / URL field), it opens by default an url from history instead of doing a search. For example, if I search for "I want candies" and access to the website iwantcandies.com, the next time I want to search in google for "i want candies", it opens the url that I visited, not showing a search result. On my iPhone, I see that the button shows "access", not "search". It seems that I have to remove the entry from the history, but ilagine the loss of time of I have to do this for every website that I access...

How can I change this behaviour to have Safari search by default ? I didn't find any option to change that behaviour. This is counter-productive and makes me loose lot of time.

Please note that I have my iOS in french, thus the "access" and "search" words may not be exact.

Thank you for your help !
