time zone doesn't change

i live in Kazakhstan. Recently, our country has changed our time zone from GMT 6 to GMT 5. As an iphone15 user, my time zone didnt changed. My Astana time shows the wrong time. But my friend, who has an iPhone14promax dont have a problem like mine.

Her time zone changed the same day when we changed our time zone. Why?

iPhone randomly changes timezone in Mexico My iPhone changed time zones the night before I was supposed to catch a flight out of Chihuahua back home to San Diego. My alarm went off as scheduled on the phone, but it was an hour late and moments later my app was telling me the flight was boarding. Obviously I missed it. I turned my phone off and back on and it corrected itself to the right time. When I was at the airport negotiating my way onto the later flight the gate agent told me it happens a lot with iPhones is this true? It is something being done about it? Or do I just need to remember to turn off automatic time adjustment while in Mexico?

How do I change the timezone on my iPhone 14 Pro Max? My iPhone ProMax 14 is set to automatic on the time zone. It is picking eastern time zone in the USA when I live in the Central Time Zone. How can I fix this? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Go into Settings>General>Date & Time, make sure that Set Automatically is turned on. You also may need to check with your cellular carrier as the information for your phone comes from them.
