I found "Photos Library.photoslibrary" in the trash. I can't open "Photos". How do I get it back in the correct location?

Then look, if you are still having a Photos Library.photoslibrary in your Pictures folder. If yes, double click the library there to open it in Photos. If not drag the library from the Trash to Pictures.
if the library in the Trash is very small, just a few MB, then it it probably a temporary library created by some app or service, that needed to use Photos to open a picture and trashed its own auxiliary library when it was done.

Try to search with Photos for a different Photos Library.

I created a new library and imported all of my pictures into it. However, it doesn't show all of the imported pictures.
Let's take this angle: I see all of my pictures in Pictures in my favorites in a finder window. Somehow I need to connect all of those pictures to my Photo icon so when I open the Photo icon it shows all the pictures in my Picture folder in the finder window favorites. What do you recommend?

The PhotosLibrary.photoslibrary will not transfer to the Photo Icon. When I "get info" it shows no bytes.
It's an empty library (Zero K).
