new macbook air speakers are creating feedback

when trying out zoom on my new device i could every now and again (enough to be really annoying) hear some feedback. The other recipient couldnt hear it, and it was only when i spoke not them. Any ideas why?

Adjust the volume levels for speaker volume and microphone sensitivity. You either have the audio set too loud, or the microphone sensitivity is too great. Check the Sound System Settings (Output & Input sections), plus you may want to check Zoom's own settings as well.


It is also possible someone else in the Zoom chat session has incorrect settings, but figuring out who it is. The only way to completely eliminate your system as the problem is by using headphones instead of the system speakers.
