When I am on zoom and or Teams others on the call say they get feedback from my PC. The sound output on my PC reverberates

When I use my MacBook Pro (2017) with zoom or Teams other users complain about feedback when I am not on mute. That's fine but limited the time I can speak. There is a reverberation or generally poor quality to the receiving sound so appears to be an issue with my speaker. Any ideas without having to buy a new Macbook?

I've not done Teams but have Zoomed a lot with a Macbook Pro. I have not had a feedback issue in several disparate locations, mostly home or various hotels.

Does this happen at only one location or anyplace you use it?

Is there any other device nearby, like a phone or tablet that is connected to the same meeting? That has caused the worst feedback I've encountered.

I started using Apple Earpods ( 3.5mm connector) for wed meetings to avoid disturbing my wife, and that may the the best and least costly solution. Others in meetings say they have no issues with hearlng me via the microphone on the Earpods, and report no feedback issues. And I can hear better!
