Which iTunes version will be best fit to sync music between iPod and MacBook

What version of MacOS are you using? iTunes is no longer compatible with latest macOS. Use music app instead. See Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your Mac - Apple Support
