my iphone brightness won’t go all the way up.

The slider toggle works but stops about half way up and won’t go to the brightness I know it can/has in the past (even though the slider still moves after that, the brightness stays the same). I tried turning off auto brightness and blue light eliminator but it didn’t help. I have lower power mode turned off and my phone is fully charged. I’ve been having this problem for a while now and can’t find anything on the internet to help.

iPhone 14, iOS 17

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

After a successful Forced Restart, as shown above, try and adjust your brightness.
