Xbox controller not connecting

I put the controller in discoverable mode, but it never shows up in the pairable devices.

It is still connected to my Xbox and keeps triggering that, but I cannot find a way to unpair it from there. I unplugged the Xbox, but the Apple TV still cannot discover it.

Are Xbox controllers no longer usable for Apple TV once they are paired to an Xbox?

Unfortunately, that model uses a proprietary form of wireless communication that differs from standard Bluetooth. That model is not compatible with Apple TV or computers or mobile devices.
