Gotcha! Thanks. Just leaving the JRE option disabled, as MrHoffman has suggested, should do the trick. However, if you don't plan on use LO, I suggest that you remove it from your Mac. Should you need it again, just get it from the Apple App Store.

And if you don’t want to use the JRE, then uncheck it.

Sorry, but what I don't understand is that you state that you don't want to use Java on your Mac. Then you mention that the version of LibreOffice at the Apple App Store does not support Java extensions. You, instead, downloaded a version that does and now want to know if disabling this option will not cause any issues with your Mac. Did I understand this correctly?

Just get it from the DocumentFoundation LO site as the Mac App Store version is $8.99 USD and offers older code. The DocumentFoundation site also offers a native Apple Silicon build of LO for M1/M2/M3 Macs.
