Share button in find my app

My husband and I previously have been able to see each other's location in the find my app. I guess I accidentally hit the "remove" option on my husbands name. I resent the request to see his location and when I went on his phone to respond to my request, the options "share" and "do not share" were there. I would tick share, but it would just spin and spin, but never read it. Then it would do nothing. I checked privacy settings, turned everything on... it just durant accept the option to share. Help
