Cannot add number to Contacts

When I'm messaging a new number and I want to add to my contacts (and the issue seems to be hit or miss), and it does not appear to be related to if they are iphone or android users, but I will click on the number, click info, and the next screen that appears, that usually you can scroll down to "add contact ", gets stuck sometimes with the last text on the screen being the "$ pay" nothing appears below it.

This does not happen in any consistent manner, some numbers I can add, sometimes I cannot.

Just read this some where else and it worked.

I finally figured it out. On your original text, tap the contact’s phone number to open up the next screen. Tap info. Then on the next screen press and hold the contact image which looks like a blank face. You have the option to add a new contact.

Works but PIA but hopefully it gets fixed with next update
