Exchange calendars, not showing up in Apple calendar.

This morning, I noticed that the information in Apple calendar for one of my Exchange accounts was incorrect. Next to both of my Exchange accounts was a triangle with an ! indicating a problem. First, I toggle off the switch for the calendar under Internet accounts and the Exchange account. The calendar disappeared from my Apple calendar on the sidebar. Then, I toggled it back on. The main heading for the Exchange calendar account appeared on the sidebar. However, when I clicked the down arrow, it was empty.

The advice I found on the Internet, I went to terminal, stopped and started calendar services. Still, the problem persisted. Lastly, I deleted the entire Exchange account (including notes and mail) from the computer. Then I added it back again. The same problem persists where the account name appears in the sidebar, but no calendars are under it. Refreshing the view does nothing. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Because 38 people looked at this post, I am posting my resolution to this problem, even though I created the original post. I hired an Apple-certified technician to look at my computer to see if he could get the calendar working. He told me that to fix the problem, I needed to reinstall the operating system as if it were a new computer and not restore it from a time machine backup. The problem had nothing to do directly with the version of the operating system; rather, some part of the complex code that made the operating system work properly became corrupt. Also, his opinion was that X.4 of a given operating system is too new to upgrade to. Therefore, upgrading to such an operating system could cause some data as in my case to become corrupt.

The exact steps I followed are: First, I erased the internal SSD. Then, I installed the original operating system. Next, I updated the operating system to the newest version. Finally, I added all of my accounts back onto the computer. Because everything, including documents, was stored in the cloud, the only thing I had to retrieve from the Internet was my applications. Everything now works perfectly.
