Port-in temporary number not changing back to old number

Hello, recently done port in with my parents. My device was able to successfully port in and detect my old number, deleting the temporary one. However, for my father, it was not the case. The SIM card number is still detected as the temporary number, and it was unable to save if I manually edited the phone number. Turning off iMessage, FaceTime didn’t work, restarting and removing SIM card didn’t work either. Any help? Although calling works, receiving calls work, Receiving sms also works, outgoing SMS/iMessages will be sent w temporary number.

Just in case anybody else needs help, if your temporary number is stuck after port-in, resetting network setting definitely does help. Upon reset, my original phone number appeared automatically! However, all remembered wifi password will be lost and it is a hassle to input them again. It’s either this or contact carrier support
