Should I delete everything to start over and build a new Apple Music music library from scratch?

I want to start clean ... there are too many problems with files in my Music folders.

Do I just delete everything in Music and the Add to Library to reload the good files?

Brian,

That is impossible to answer without knowing what "problems with files" you are having. If your files and folders are too spread around, you might consider running "Consolidate" as described in here:

Change where your music files are stored on Mac - Apple Support

If there is some more drastic problem, maybe the "nuclear option" is the answer.
