I noticed my Spotify widget was showing a blank black screen, so I removed the widget and when I try to redownload it, it's no longer showing as an option to do that. iOS 17.3.1
I removed the Spotify app and re-started my phone. I re-installed the app and it showed up again as a widget to add.
I just restarted my phone -> Volume button up, down, hold power until you see the apple logo and let go.
Spotify reappeared ( iOS 17.4.1)

I had the exact same issue. Now I can’t add the app back because it’s not an option.
