Prior to upgrading to a new iphone, I want to backup my iphone xr (ios17.3.1) to my windows 10 pc, including all my resident internet browsers, their bookmarks, history and open tabs as well as my VPN and other iphone-resident apps. Itunes 1213.3.2010.0 and icloud 7.21.0.23 are installed on my pc.
Can someone help?

Apps are not backed up on iTunes or iCloud, only the app data along with app links to the App Store gets backed up.
Thanks for the info. Having only the data is ok as long as the data for browsers includes bookmarks, history, current tabs, passwords and key settings, which differ across the various browsers I use. If current tabs are not saved to iCloud /itunes, I can use group bookmarks to capture them where history isn’t saved for security reasons.
