MacBook Pro touch id on power button no longer works -- can I trade in for value > $0?
The touch ID function on my 2018 MacBook Pro's power button no longer works (the power button was replaced and because of the (annoying) setup Apple has enforced, where serial numbers on the power button and computer have to match in order for touch ID to work, I can no longer use the touch ID function). The power function of the power button works fine. I recently bought a new MacBook Pro and would like to trade in my 2018 model -- but only if the value will be greater than $0. I'm not sure how to interpret the trade-in questions because the power button functions just fine, it is only the touch ID that doesn't work. Can you please tell me if I'd receive any $ for this trade in?
Thanks.
