2020 MBP fan runs very hot and also while computer is in sleep

My MBP 2020 13" has the fan running loudly even when doing simple tasks like surfing the web. The fan will also randomly come on when the computer is in sleep mode and gets very hot, and then drains the battery completely. I have reset SMC, I have run diagnostics, I have run the first aid feature in Safe Mode. I don't have a clue what is causing this and hoping for any help. Running the latest Sonoma edition. Thank you.
