Outlook notifications do not work after update to 17.3.1

outlook notifications used to pop up a summary with the name of the sender and the subject heading. Now they do not, only a single line that says I have a message. Apple support checked all the basic things like "is your notifications on" etc and everything is set correctly.

outlook support refers me back to apple, or to "contact my administrator" - that would be Me, and I sure didn't make any changes in outlook.

I note there are hundreds of similar posts regarding outlook notifications advising a single 'message' headline.

I note that after this post I have updated to ios 17.4 and the notifications are working correctly now.

This demonstrates to me that the apple support agents telling me that it was microsofts fault were incorrect.
