My son has a iPad and we got a notification about a AirTag and we don’t own one.
We just got alerts on my sons iPad an AirTag has been found moving and he does not own an AirTag. I am the owner of the iPad. I do not own a AirTag.

Perhaps an AirTag that belongs to somebody else is in close proximity.
AirTags may be in another room (including a close/neighbouring property), clothing, bags etc.
