iOS 17.4 typing issues with Notes App

I’ve attached a screenshot from one of many problems I was having after updating to 17.4. After a few calls into Apple I initiated a complete restore on my 12 Pro Max. Was concerned that various settings/preferences would be affected. They were not and now my device is working perfectly. I completed using a PC and syncing with iTunes with a senior advisor walking me through the process. Took me about an hour to complete.

Put my device into DFU mode and restored it through configurator - seems to be ok now 🤞🏻

Go to Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, tap on and delete any VPN profiles.

The screen shot indicates you're not connected to WiFi. I'd advise you connect to WiFi and try again.

I have no idea what a loud spiker is, but it doesn’t sound like an issue regarding the Notes app. Rather than tag on to this 7 page thread about Notes, you should start a new thread which will appear at the top of the iPhone page and is more likely to get attention. Just click on Ask The Community at the top of this page and repost your issue.

Yes I had to go to the apple store. If you have a mac or a pc you can fox it that way. All he did was update my phone with a laptop.

Googled “17.4 buggy” and found several posts in Reddit and Quora (I believe) related to the series of glitches due to this update. I hope Apple is listening. This is one of the worst updates so far.

The developer apparently needs to update the app. Contact them and let them know about the problem.

Since I started debugging with the iPad Pro iOS 17.4 emulator for an app I'm developing with .NET MAUI .NET 8, every time I click on any component that has a click action, the app closes. When using the iPad Pro with iOS 17.2, this error does not occur.
