Urgent: Finder Crashing Issue on Mac Sonoma 14.3.1

Dear Apple Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding a persistent issue I am facing on my Mac Sonoma 14.3.1, and I am seeking assistance to resolve it.

The problem revolves around Finder, which repeatedly crashes when I attempt to download files from the web or select a folder for uploading. Unfortunately, this is hindering my ability to click the "Save" button, making it impossible for me to carry out essential tasks.

I have already tried to Force Relaunch, but the issue persists. As a dedicated user of Apple products, I value the seamless experience that your devices provide, and I am confident that there is a solution to this problem.

I kindly request your support in addressing and resolving this matter promptly. Any guidance, troubleshooting tips, or updates on potential fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and assistance in resolving this issue.

unplug all non-essential third party peripherals when testing

third-party sync software like: OneDrive, GoogleDrive, BackBlaze or DropBox have been known to interfere

disable when testing.

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS

To trouble shoot further you can:

—A SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

This test will tell you if third party interference; most extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.
