iPad 9th gen quality issue
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the quality issue I have encountered with my recently purchased iPad 9th generation.
I have been using the iPad for nearly two years without any issues until today, when it suddenly became unresponsive and failed to power on. Despite attempting to troubleshoot by plugging in the power cable and performing a force reboot, the device remains non-functional.
Upon contacting the local Malaysia Apple authorized service center, I was informed that no repair could be performed locally. Instead, they offered a one-to-one swap with a price tag of approximately RM1500, which I find to be unreasonably high. Considering this cost, it would be more practical for me to purchase a brand new device.
What disappoints me the most is that this issue reflects a significant decline in the quality of the iPad compared to my previous experiences with Apple products. I have been a loyal customer and have owned multiple Apple devices, including older iPads and iPhones, without encountering such short-lived product quality issues.
I sincerely hope that Apple will take this matter seriously and investigate the underlying cause of this issue. As a valued customer, I trust that Apple will uphold its reputation for delivering high-quality products and provide a satisfactory resolution to this matter.
