My Mac is wanting to log into keychain but I cannot remember the password
I tried to change the password in settings however you have to enter your old password first and I cannot remember it

Have you recently reset your Mac's login password because you forgot it? The keychain password may still be the previously used password since the keychain password would not have been changed.
❝If your user password was reset because you forgot your password, and you can’t provide the old password for the keychain, you won’t be able to access the information in the old keychain, and a new blank keychain is created.❞
