Removing icloud drive downloaded files on IPAD

Config: iPad Air (4th generation), iPadOS 17.3.1. My iPad local storage shows 7gb for iCloud Drive.   Opening the Files app, I show no files in any downloads folder, under iCloud Drive nor Favorites.  Browsing iCloud Drive, I can find files with no cloud download symbol.  Holding down my finger on any of theses will include “remove download” in the popup options.   I have many of these files.  How do I “remove download” on all these files at once or more easily than opening each folder to select file or select all and removing individually?
