Block sales ads on apple devices
I subscribe to a local news paper and npr, how can sales ads be blocked or from taking up reading space when using my ipad?

Many publications are supported by advertising revenue - and as such, you may have no method by which unwanted content can be suppressed.
That said, some content might be successfully blocked using a reputable Ad Blocker App. One of the best and most respected, designed explicitly for Apple devices, is 1Blocker:

You should note that while many types of content can be successfully blocked, it is not a panacea capable of suppressing content within a publication.
