What can’t I do this update
I can’t update to iOS 17 it won’t let me

The iPhone 6s (listed in your device line) does not support iOS 17. It lacks the hardware, RAM and CPU to properly run it.
The iPhone 6s received an update for iOS 16, to version 16.7.6. You should be able to update to that by going to Settings ➜ General ➜ Software Update
If you are not using the iPhone 6s in you device line, then please provide the exact model of iPhone, what iOS version it is currently running, and what happens when you try to update.
