Iphone 12 stuck on software update complete page & trying to factory reset isn't working because my computer is telling me I need to turn off "find my" for this device, but I can't get to the settings on the phone to do that.

I tried to transfer my old phone backup to a new to me iphone 12, and it went through the transfer process, but is now stuck on the "software update complete" page. When I hit continue, it takes me to a remote management screen, but this device isn't actually remotely managed by that company anymore, and I can't get to the settings on the phone to turn that off, OR to turn off "find my". I've removed the device from my "find my" account using my old phone, so I don't know why it's still giving that error.

I've tried following the factory reset with buttons, as well as going into Finder and trying to restore that way, but it still gives the "find my" error. Again, I cannot get to the iCloud settings on the new device because it's stuck on this software update page.

Any ideas on how to get past this?

Talk to the company that has the remote management installed on it.

I did. They told me to go to the settings on the device, but I cannot get to them or restore to a backup because the iphone is giving this "find my" message, which also tells me to go to the settings on the device. I've already logged into my apple account and confirmed this new device isn't even listed, so I'm stuck. Do you know how to get around this "find my" must be turned off... message if I can't get to the settings on the device?
