I want to switch my daughter’s iCloud account to be an adult, so she can be free to make her own purchases and anything like that. I only have an Android phone, and the only Apple product in our entire house is her iPad. How do I make it an adult account? I don’t want anything about making an adult a child, JUST child to adult.
If you turned on Ask To Buy you may still have to turn it off, and I don't see any way of doing this other than on an Apple device signed in with your ID: Set up Ask to Buy - Apple Support
If you're a parent or guardian, use your own device to turn on or turn off Ask to Buy.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Family Sharing.
4. Tap your family member's name, then tap Ask to Buy. In iOS 15 or earlier, tap Ask to Buy then tap your family member's name.
5. Turn on or off Require Purchase Approval.
