Whatsapp download twice photo and video

have the same probleme here. i’ve just wrote to whatsapp support. i’ll update you with their response

Hey genius. WhatsApp version was the same before and after 17.4 update. And it happened only after the update. So I’m supposed to ask here rather than WhatsApp group isn’t.

I got the same issue before and after update to IOS 17.4. Seems it’s the issue of WhatsApp latest update.

Having the same problem just after I updated to ios17.4

the issue is not related to iOS 17.4, I have it as well on my iPhone 8 running iOS 16.3.1

most surely it’s related to a bug into the latest whatsapp version

Just received an update of WhatsApp. The problem is fixed with : 2.24.5.75

I've got the same issue. Deleted the app, changed settings but noting works. Seems to be a bug in iOS 17.4 hopefully there would be a fix asap

Same happening here , nuisance having to constantly delete photos , only happened since iOS 17.4

The same thing happens to me, and I have the version 2.24.5.74. It has to be something of updating to ios 17.4, because before updating this didn´t happen.

Which version you got of WhatsApp I’m currently on 2.24.5.74

I don’t know how to check the version but right now I see that there is an update to version 24.5.3 ready to be installed.

again, I’m on iOS 16.3.1 and I have the same exact issue, most likely it’s related to the app itself and not iOS.

No genius is that what Whatsapp told you when you contacted them?

okay so they didn’t reply to me to the first request, then i tried again and this was their response:

this doesn’t respond to my and ours question and they basically didn’t care.

Did you actually read through the thread, this is a whatsapp issue, as another user updated their app and it fixed the issue.
