Lord of the Rings Extended Edition Bundle NOT playing in 4K

I purchased the Lord of the Rings Extended Editions Bundle back in July of 2021 and have been patiently waiting for the full release of the films in 4K format. I have read on several discussion boards that the theatrical releases are all available in 4K and the first two of the extended editions are available in 4K as well but this was back in December of 2020. It is now March of 2024 and I am still only getting the films in 720p on my Apple TV apps on both my phone and my TV apps. Is this just bad 4K upscaling or are they really not in 4K yet?
