Hi everyone, I have a collection of audio recordings in the WAV format that are taking up a significant amount of space on my hard drive. In order to reduce file sizes and enhance compatibility, I'm looking for a reliable and user-friendly method to convert WAV files to MP3 on Mac computer.
I'm hoping to find some assistance or recommendations from this knowledgeable community.

It's a well done audio file converter without any upsell or adware or other nonsense. Did I mention it's cross platform and free?
I produce WAVs and convert them to Apple AIFF files and mp3s for people who want them.
This software is fast and good.

This is a universal, and free method using ffmpeg library:
ffmpeg -i inputfile.wav -ab 320k outputfile.mp3
