How Dow I set up an iPhone 12 for the elderly?
I am trying to setup an iPhone for an elderly person in her 80s. I am setting the main page
with minimal icons. Preferably pictorial contact list.

- Increase Accessibility:
- Text Size: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size. Choose "Larger Text" and adjust the slider for better readability.
- Bold Text: Enable "Bold Text" under the same Display & Text Size menu for improved contrast.
- Ringer Volume: Increase ringer and alert volume in Sounds & Haptics to ensure they don't miss calls.
- Home Screen Layout:
- Minimize Icons: Long press on any app icon to enter jiggle mode. Then, drag and drop apps to move them around. Create folders for similar apps (like Photos & Camera) to reduce clutter.
- Rearrange for Priority: Place the most used apps (Phone, Messages, Photos) on the bottom row of the dock for easy access.
