Sonoma 14.4 - serious iLok issues !

I tought there was a problem with Rosetta on 14.3, I was unable to use an old program on my MacBook Pro M1 Pro and read somewhere that the cause was that 14.3 update made Rosetta mode disappear. I was hoping it to come back in an update. I will avoid 14.4 until the fix having a lot of iLok authorize plugins.

And the worst is - they don't even give you an easy possibility to upgrade to 14.3.x anymore, because just days ago i finally could update to 14.3 (because of ProTools) but no - i am now stuck with 13.5.

Apple - please - i had this so often - please give pros the opportunity to make easy upgrades to whatever they need!

I understand that downgrades are too difficult - but there is no real reason why i cannot upgrade from 13.5 to any 14.x quite easily. All we would need is the link to several installers. It is like treating us like children.

In my experience this doesn't work 100%. I use UA Luna and UA sent out an email telling folks to try this fix, but I still had issues. Sadly, I opted to return my shiny new Mini M2Pro which shipped with the latest OS and go back to my trusty trash can. No word, to my knowledge, when this will be fixed.

Hi, after Sonoma 14.4.1 came out several companies said its works fine now - so first i tried it with a M2 MacBookPro - worked fine without any problems. Then i did the update with a MacStudio M2 and it works perfectly there as well.

I am running the latest versions of LogicX and ProTools with lots of PlugIns mainly VSL, iZotope, Sine-Player, NI, Arturia... no problems whatsoever.

Apple doesn't come, not very often at least.

I downgraded to iLok 5.6 which seems a tad bit better, but it's a bit wacked even in Rosetta. So iLok says ity's Apple? maybe it's Apple and ilok too.

Actually this issue had more to do with iLok's OS level validation than Sonoma.
