After updating my phone to ios 17.4 my battery seems to drain faster what should be the reason?

I have finally found the reason for overheating and possibly also for unacceptable battery drain under 17.4.1 for my case (iPhone 13 Pro, 17.4.1). The culprit is "Require Attention for Face ID", "Attention-Aware Features" or perhaps both.
After one day of usage I can confirm that battery life is back to normal levels: about 10% drop in one hour screen-on browsing.
This means about 10 hours browsing time at modest screen brightness from a full charge, which is more or less what I was getting before "upgrading" to 17.4 (17.4.1) with my iPhone 13 Pro (now at at 92% battery health).
With "Require Attention for Face ID" and "Attention-Aware Features" ON, I get instead more than 20% drop per hour of browsing under otherwise the same conditions (connection, position, screen brightness, apps used, etc.)
Same here, if they don't fix this fast I will no longer use Apple products!!! I have been hanging on a long long time, had the iPhone since version 2, and this may be my last!!

Agree. My 14 is just I we a year old and top charge is 88%.

Since 17.4, my battery health dropped by 9% with the usual usage, charging between 20 and 80% etc.
This is unacceptable.

Same! My battery life on iPhone 15 pro max was literally amazing until this last update. It would last all day even after heavy use.
My battery is draining quickly after the update. Connection issues as well.
I just checked and my battery health has dropped 17% since that update!! I had just checked it in the end of February and it was at 98% and now it is at 82%. We need answers!
Battery drain crazy after just updated my XS to 17.5.

I tried to charge but since I downloaded the app I have problems with charging another scam for u to buy new phone
turn off all almost all location services and more did not work.
Definitely seeing the same issue. No change in usage and I’m lucky to get through a day without being almost empty on my iPhone 15 pro max.
