After updating my phone to ios 17.4 my battery seems to drain faster what should be the reason?

I have finally found the reason for overheating and possibly also for unacceptable battery drain under 17.4.1 for my case (iPhone 13 Pro, 17.4.1). The culprit is "Require Attention for Face ID", "Attention-Aware Features" or perhaps both.
After one day of usage I can confirm that battery life is back to normal levels: about 10% drop in one hour screen-on browsing.
This means about 10 hours browsing time at modest screen brightness from a full charge, which is more or less what I was getting before "upgrading" to 17.4 (17.4.1) with my iPhone 13 Pro (now at at 92% battery health).
With "Require Attention for Face ID" and "Attention-Aware Features" ON, I get instead more than 20% drop per hour of browsing under otherwise the same conditions (connection, position, screen brightness, apps used, etc.)
Battery draining like crazy in iPhone 11 Pro Max after updating. From 80 % to 10% in just 3-4 hours of use. This was not the case before the update and everything was running great.
Updated yesterday to 17.4.1 on an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it seems to be draining even faster this morning after a full night’s charge, than even 17.4! Anecdotal……but go figure…..

It’s now 2.50 pm and I need to charge my phone, 28% battery left. I have used my phone as I usual do and the battery drain still exists.
17.4.1 came out last night, it’s worse than the last 2 on the battery drain. Mine has been terrible since February, is this a worldwide thing or just here in the U.S.?
But an increase by a factor of four is not normal, is it?
I’m so frustrated also. Have to charge 2 times a day also. I read yesterday that a 18 update is coming and they are so excited about the (AI) screen. Maybe fix THIS problem First 🥴🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

I have the same, after IOS 17.1.4 update it dropped to 96%, hopefully Apple is working to fix the battery drain issue asap
