Unable to access to iTunes and App Stores on my iPod

I have iPod touch 4th generation. Not able to open iTunes or Apple Store. It gives message "Cannot Connect to iTunes". I have contacted support, they were also not able to help. I have also followed all troubleshoot steps - Reset all content and everything, Timezone is proper, etc. Still not able to login. Even, it does not allow to create new Apple ID from iPod. Please help.

Access to the store from an iPod now requires iOS 10.0, but a 4th generation iPod Touch can only use iOS 6.1.6.

It means all apple iPod touch 4th generation are useless now.

No it doesn't.

It simply means that there are no new apps for it. My 2nd gen Touch still has the Bebot app on it, which still works. More specifically, older iPods are still useful for adding music from your iTunes Library that you own (i.e. music from CD or songs that you have purchased, either from the iTunes Store or from other online retailers such as Amazon and Bandcamp).

You can still buy music from the iTunes Store on a computer and then transfer that music to the iPod. (Or Finder if you have a Mac).
