Yes! Try offloading/reinstalling the app. It got fixed for me. I offloaded and reinstalled it again as data remains saved that way. Hope it helps:)

u can try to restart your phone and try uninstall ur WhatsApp and install back. maybe have cache at your app or you can clear cache data at Whatsapp in setting phone.

Also, I have the auto download option turned off but when I’m downloading a picture, it’s downloading twice. So hectic!
