GarageBand not letting me open songs

So today I tried to log on to GarageBand to listen to some songs and I got this error message.

”Something went wrong while displaying documents”

It was not listed as down on the Apple Status page so why does this keep happening?

Also, it keeps saying “Operation could not be completed” with buttons saying OK or Don’t save.

How do I fix this

iPad, iPadOS 17

Re: GarageBand not letting me open songs

Wondering if you have Garageband installed on your iPad, as you would just open the app, rather than log-in to it.

GarageBand is a free Apple app for music creation .. you download it from the App Store, open the app, and use it to create your own music, or import songs into it to shorten them and use them as ringtones, etc. See: GarageBand for iOS - Apple

You would have the Apple Music app on your iPad to listen to any iTunes songs that you have in the Library. You can also subscribe to Apple musicif you want, or just listen to your songs, or to Apple Music radio for free.

  1. Open the Apple Music app and tap Listen Now.
  2. In the upper-right corner, tap the photo icon.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
